I've been working with Django for almost ten years now. In that time I have had the privilege of working with extremely talented teams in building enterprise applications for clients all over the world. From deployment for governments to multi-national corporations alike, Django has consistently delivered on its promise of secure, scalable, and reliable.
Over the years I have seen many different approaches for deploying Django. Git checkouts, sdists, mod_wsgi, uwsgi, Nginx, Apache, you name it. As the framework and the surrounding ecosystem evolved, so too did the strategies for deploying and configuring Django applications in production.
The flexibility in how Django can be configured and deplyed is part of its appeal, but can also be a source of confusion.
Deploying Django is my offering to the Django community, a guide to deploying robust, secure Django applications with ease. It will teach you not only how to deploy and configure your application, but also understand the rationale behind each step so that you can adjust the deployment to meet your own needs.
The book will launch in March 2020. You can pre-order on Gumroad using the button below, or view the product page to find more information.Pre-order Deploying Django
